38 Schools, 57 Teams & 185 Participants from India and Gulf countries

Central Board of Secondary Education is the strongest educational board of India, run under the Ministry of Human Resource Development of Central Government of India. It has around 18,000 schools in India and abroad. In additional to the academic support, it also conducts various sports and games among the member schools every year. About 24 such events are conducted cluster wise, Zonal wise and National level.

This year Bannari Amman Public School has been assigned the task of conducting the National Level Lawn Tennis Tournament on behalf of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.

It is conducted from the 6th of November to the 11th of November, under two categories viz., Under 17 & Under 19 for both boys and girls.

38 Schools have registered for their participation. This includes 29 schools from India and 9 Schools from Gulf countries.

CBSE National Tennis tournament was inaugurated today at BIT campus. Bannari Amman Group Chairman Shri SV Balasubramaniam met the players and encouraged them.
